Steph is currently working on a novel, "The Cure of all Diseases" a mystery featuring a character undergoing treatment for breast cancer. It is the first in a proposed series of five featuring the character Grace Andersen.

           Grace Andersen, in the middle of treatment for breast cancer, encounters a ghost from her past, Professor Joss Pavkovic, who has just discovered a 16th century diary. Joss apparently commits suicide, but Grace believes that she has been murdered. Grace is unable to persuade the authorities of this, but through her investigations, the murderer is exposed and the contents of the diary, which solves a 400 year old mystery, are revealed.
